On Sunday, August 31st we were grateful to be welcomed by The First Congregational Church of Winter Park (FCCWP) with an inspiring message on humility from Reverend Shawn Garvey.

Oviedo Citizens in Action was founded in the pursuit of justice, equality, and community for the people of Oviedo. These values are rooted in peaceful advocacy and inspired by faith leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Our 5th Sunday tradition is a way to continue that legacy. On months with a 5th Sunday, we attend a local church service, not just as an act of worship, but to build unity across our diverse community.

Whether you're a person of deep faith or simply committed to community and justice, there's a place for you in this tradition, and in OCIA.
